The bad ending: Everything just slowly keeps getting shittier.
The good ending: Increased autonomy at the state and local level, differential outcomes across the continent begin to accelerate, with some areas being relatively functional while others spiral ever further into decay.
At no point do I think there will be a civil war. A civil war where organized factions are actually shooting at each other would be akin to an all-out nuclear exchange between the United States and Russia, the ultimate lose-lose scenario. All players involved have much to lose from such behavior and little or nothing to gain.
Civil conflict will come to the US when cabinet level agencies start to compete over jurisdiction in a way that spirals to violence. With the presidency now openly reduced to a totally symbolic figurehead, this outcome is increasingly likely (in a time scale of decades).
The fantasy of working class militias overthrowing Washington is just that, a fantasy.
Your theory is that what, the Department of State will go to war with the Department of Justice? Seems far-fetched but what do I know. Probably still more realistic than the sort of civil war that people usually imagine.
If you cast a vote for President in 2024 - already knowing/believing what you do - then I think you're going to find another set of bad reasons to vote in the Presidential elections in 2028. There will always be Hopium for sale as long as there's a market for it.
If we want a different outcome from the last 15 elections, we need a different strategy.
Another Trump term helps to slow the river for a short period. This does not replace building a dam, but it gives you time to organize the beavers. I still want to build the dam.
Respectfully, I disagree. The GOP is the enemy just as much as Antifa. They never met a promise they couldn't break or a White GOP voter they couldn't betray. The GOP is just *waiting* to pass a 'bipartisan' bill on 'anti-Semitism'. The national GOP must die. It's a toxic parasite on White America.
A non-strategic approach will not deliver strategic results. But, as I pointed out, as long as people are willing to trade Hopium for their support in legitimizing their subjugation, Hopium will be offered.
The only reason we're able to have such a conversation about this on such a public platform at all is because so far, despite everything else, the American establishment has been prevented from passing mass censorship laws in the manner of Europe. This needs to be maintained in order to facilitate more growth and better strategic planning. I would love to hear some strategic thinking from you rather than repeating "hopium" accusations when I have not once claimed any strategic gain, (beyond buying us time), will arise from this election in the first place.
We're not having a 'public' conversation. We're anonymous. The 'American establishment' knows it can control 'speech' indirectly by 'canceling' using public (FBI) and private (jewish NGO) agencies. So, they have tools to suppress speech just as much as European authorities do, they're just different tools. But, I expect 'hate speech' and similar legislation to be passed under Trump just as such laws were passed in 'red state' Florida without anyone on the GOP raising the slightest concern.
You *hope* Trump won't sign any censorship legislation even though the GOP already supports censorship in principle and practice.
You *hope* a Trump victory will result in having more time even though there's no indication Trump plans to do anything that would result in more 'time'.
You *hope* that more 'time' will be used wisely by American dissidents on the Right despite the fact that the Right has had a century to organize and accomplished nothing of strategic value during that time.
You're selling hopium.
I have a strategy that advocate: virtual secession. It's a strategy centered around encouraging and taking advantage of 'division' using existing 'Don't Tread On Me' sentiment and channeling all political efforts towards 'separatism' in the form of building nullification infrastructure by state and local governments and promoting autaky at all levels of the economy.
A vote for Trump doesn't stop the process of dispossession and subjugation of Whites, it merely changes the 'face' of that process.
We should be using our energy creating the conditions where it doesn't matter who gets elected President or who sits on the federal bench because they're ability to affect our lives is sharply curtailed through local rule.
The repeated trope that “Trump will steal our democracy” is just saving a place at the table for the next rigged election results and the planned use of shock and awe to put down any and all dissent. Every time you hear those words remember what they’re being used for and steel yourself
Rules for Radicals: Always accuse your opponent of that which you are doing yourself.
So when you hear "destroy our democracy" that is their actual plan.
Not that their word "democracy" means what people think it means anyway. It now means "the people subserviently rubber stamping the policies of the ruling elite while maintaining the facade of self government."
>When the regime steals the election, it’s time to stop pretending elections are legitimate at all. We’re all mostly there anyways, but there’s no point in making it easier for them to play Democracy.<
Refreshing to see a rare note of clarity on this. It's so tiring to see people say the election is stolen in one breath then talk about how important it is to vote for Trump in the next. If this year's election is another disaster, I really hope that people will stop with the excuse-making for Trump.
If Trump loses, then it will be assumed because the election was stolen. There is exactly zero probability that Trump supporters will accept a loss of any kind and attribute it to the free will of the people. Zero.
And like the last election, there we be literally no evidence of any vote tampering (a billion tweets of alleged vote stuffing is not proof, but that will mean nothing). The right will lose their minds, there will be more conspiracy theories than a room full of flat earthers, some violence, but it will calm down after a while. And nothing will be gained by anyone.
Scenario 3 be fucking practical man. If Trump ends the proxy war against Russia, puts in RFK Jr. at FDA, and protects the 1st and 2nd Amendment that is actually yuge. It gives us more time to prep. If you haven't moved out of a city yet, why are you so tardy? If they install Harris it will be too late, and you can kiss free speech on the internet and having any kind of semi auto rifle goodbye.
The biggest question left is what does Scenario X look like? Are we looking at a Yarvinite-palace coup, or something much worse?

Closest notable scenario was the dispute over Texas closing its border with Mexico and nearly half of US governors siding with Abbott
More likely intelligence/security agencies would come into conflict. This is fairly common historically.

Yes, but it doesn't matter what their goals are if they achieve things that temporarily help me.

Rinse and repeat in 4 years.
You are not as bright as you believe yourself to be.
Hope that shooting the messenger brought a smile to your face. 😊
Should really get that ego checked out bud
"please don’t adopt a cabin-in-the-woods mentality about it."
Sounds like cope to me, are you too all in on the yuppie urbanite lifestyle to afford one?
You can't retreat forever. At some point you have to go on the offensive. This has nothing to do with my love of nature.
